Role Profile
TV Repair Technician – Manchester
Hours / Pay
Full Time – £19,000 per annum + bonus
Overall Purpose of Job
To provide the highest standards of service to the Customer, by way of an effective repair experience.
To ensure the customer is provided with a fully functioning product whilst delivering the highest standards of Customer Care at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To provide a repair service on TV & A/V products including LED TV, DVD & Blue Ray.
• To diagnose, repair & refurbish products
• To present a professional image at all times both in appearance and in manner.
• To provide effective customer care.
• To complete all necessary administration
• To effectively plan the daily Workload.
• To maintain the work area and equipment to the required company standard.
• To undertake training and development on new products and as required continuing self- development.
• To minimise spare part costs where possible through effective diagnosis and ordering.
• To undertake ad-hoc duties, as and when required.
• To cover other members of staff across other functions as circumstances require.
Skills & Experience (Minimum Requirements)
Essential
• Educated to GCSE standard.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards
• Experience in electronic product repair to module / component level
• Experience of working in an EPA / ESD compliant work area
Desirable
• C&G 224 or similar Electronic Engineering qualifications
