Job Description

Brick Fabrication Ltd is a private and profitable manufacturer of prefabricated building products supplying the house building and construction industries. We manufacture Chimneys, Cut & Bond Brick Specials and Arches from three manufacturing sites across the UK.

Due to the continued growth of Brick Fabrication we are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to support the Central Sales department at head office in Pontypool. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated and experienced individual who is ready to progress to the next step in their career.

This role will see you working alongside various departments, including sales, estimating, production and end user, customer accounts. You will wear many hats through delivering first class customer service from initial enquiry through to order completion.

The Role

  • Preparing quotations from taking off drawings
  • Sales order entry
  • Arranging collections and deliveries
  • You booking internal and external haulage
  • Support to Brick Clad Chimney, GRP Chimney and Cut and Bond departments

The Person

  • Work efficiently and methodically with an eye for detail
  • Good communicator, confident and able to converse with customers at various levels over the telephone and by email.
  • Possess strong IT skills including Microsoft Office. Experience of Sage Accounts and CAD software packages will be preferred 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the construction and house building market
  • Desire to succeed

The Package

  • Salaried, exceeds minimum wage and dependent upon experience
  • 40 hours per week
  • Good career prospects
