Job Description

You’ll be working for our Retail Support Division – supporting customers to whom we supply a range of specialist FM services including store development and stocktaking services.

Duties: Working on different sites for national retailers, you’ll help to ensure that the range and display of products encourages and enables customers to make purchases. Working as part of a team, you’ll replenish stock levels, ensure products are displayed according to plans, and move items from warehouses and stockrooms as required.

With a responsible and reliable approach, you’ll ensure Company and customer confidentiality at all times. Health and Safety is also vital to this role and you’ll follow Company procedures, including a dress code for which full uniform is provided.

To meet customer requirements, this role involves working on a shift pattern, with days and night available. Normal shifts are 12 hours, with a one hour split break.

You should also note that:

  • While frequently accessing high level stock, working from ladders and step stools you will be required to move and relocate stock items around store fixtures and racking. Additionally, you will be required to kneel, bend and squat in order to access and work with low and ground level stock.
  • Manual handling activities are required in all aspects of the role which include pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.
  • There is a requirement to actively respond to verbal instructions and audible warning devices in order to meet Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Company and Customer confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

Experience in a similar retail or merchandiser role would be useful but full training will be provided. You will also need to be:

  • Willing and able to travel nationally, including overnight stays
  • Willing and able to work the required shift pattern
  • It would also be useful if you are a car owner and driver
  • Many of our key contracts support locations nationwide and some travel will be required, including occasional overnight stays. If necessary, accommodation will be provided.

Salary: 6.80 – 7.15  per hour
