About Us

The Cat and Fiddle is a great restaurant in a great location. On the edge of the New Forest, we benefit from the surrounding camping areas and the nearby coast.

We are looking to add experience and numbers to our team for the upcoming busy months. This position would suit someone with experience in volume trading, as the Cat and Fiddle’s trade surges during the sunny months.

We will be looking for naked ambition, someone who is aiming to take their career forward.

Kitchen Team Leader

Our Kitchen Team Leaders care passionately about the quality of our food.

  • You’ll prepare, cook and present meals to specification.
  • You’ll work as part of a tight-knit team in an exciting, fast-moving environment.
  • You’ll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance with hygiene regulations and stock control.
  • Play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the operation – working as part of the management team to open and close the kitchen and ensure your shift runs smoothly.
  • You’ll take your first step on the management ladder.

Skills / Experience

The key is a passion for serving the highest quality food to our customers. You’ll have first hand experience in a Chef role and some supervisory experience will also be an advantage. Don’t worry if you haven’t had lots of experience, we’ll give you all the training you need. In return you should be enthusiastic about what you do, and willing to learn. You should also have a good eye for detail and be able to work under pressure.
