Job Description

Happy Feet Pet Services is an established pet sitting and dog walking buisness based in Cardiff.

Due to the success of our business, we are looking to add another dog walker to our current team.

It goes without saying that you must be a real animal lover. Predominantly we look after cats and dogs, however, as a business we cover all houshold pets.

Happy Feet Pet Services cover all of Cardiff, which means all applicants must have a full driving licence and use of their own vehicle. There are no exceptions to this.

As a business we don’t take more than 2 dogs at any time. This not only means that the dogs get more attention but it also allows anyone who is fit and healthy the opportunity to walk dogs without the worry of being over-powered.

All staff go through an interview stage showing how they interact with animals, as this is key to the role. We will also ask for references from previous employers. Holders of a recent CRB will be advantageous.

The sucessful applicant will be working on a self employed basis and will start off on low hours (10 – 15 hours per week). Most hours will be worked from 11am – 3pm Monday to Friday. Hours can increase to 25 a week if the applicant is looking for more hours once he/she is settled into the job.
