Customer Service Representative – Head Office, Watford
Hours
Permanent; Part Time – 17.5 hours per week
Overall Purpose of Job
As part of our Customer Relations team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering excellent customer service and enhancing the overall customer relationship with BrightHouse by answering and resolving customer enquiries via telephony and written communication.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Accurately log all customer enquiries which come into the business via telephony and written communication, and assign the enquiries to the relevant business user
• To investigate and resolve complaints in line with agreed company and customer service standards and
• Conforms to legal, regulatory and business standards.
• Take responsibility for end to end process of tasks undertaken, ensuring own knowledge is regularly updated and ensure you deliver the highest level of customer service.
• Proactively identifying key complaint trends to ensure BrightHouse offers excellence in customer service
• Continue own development in order to improve performance by enhancing knowledge, skills and experience
• Enhancing the overall customer relationship with BrightHouse
Skills & Experience (Minimum Requirements)
Essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail, an accurate worker who is meticulous
• Ability to prioritise duties
• Proven ability to deal professionally and confidently with people at all levels
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly – e.g. product knowledge, systems and processes
• Outstanding communication, organisational and administrative skills together with excellent interpersonal skills
• Passionate customer service orientation – striving to work beyond expectation
• Empathise with the customer where appropriate and ensure the customer always feels valued, treated fairly and properly informed
• Be a self motivated team player
• Computer literate – particularly with Microsoft Word
Desirable
• Previous experience in a call centre/customer enquiries environment
• Previous experience using Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience working in a retail or a financial services environment
